What happens on the call
- You tell us what’s going on
Recent grades, what revision looks like at home, and what the school has said.
- We look at where the marks are lost
Knowledge, exam technique, or applying ideas to unfamiliar questions. Each needs a different fix.
- You leave with a clear next step
Something your child can start this week, whether or not you work with us.
Does this sound familiar?
- Strong GCSEs, but a disappointing end to Year 12
- More hours at the desk, but the marks aren’t moving
- “It’s fine” when you ask, and more frustration at home
- The blame lands on the teacher, the exam or the day
Bring this if you can
Your child’s most recent marked test or exam paper. It’s the quickest way to see where the marks are going. If the school won’t release it, a past paper sat under timed conditions works too.
Who you’ll speak to
Your call will be with one of our Better Life Tuition mentors. Every mentor is trained in the same approach, developed by our founder, Nader Fadaee, to help bright students make the jump from GCSE to A-Level. We focus on how students learn, not just what they learn, so the skills carry across every subject.
Questions parents ask
Who is the call for?
Parents of students in Years 11–13 taking A-Level Chemistry or Maths, or GCSE Science or Maths, especially if results have dropped after strong GCSEs.
Does my child need to be on the call?
No. Most parents join on their own first. Your child is welcome to join if they’d like to.
Is there any obligation?
None. You’ll come away with a clear next step either way.
How soon will I hear back?
Within one working day, to confirm a time that suits you.
